The illustrated element is Helium. All of the useful Helium the USA has is stored in Amarillo Texas, thus the cliff side from Amarillo and the cowboy. It is named after the sun god Helios, who road his chariot of four fiery horses across the sky to light the world. There has been some discussion of traveling to distant planets and suns to collected Helium and the debate of whether this acceptable, which is why the two are fighting each other.
